General Court expels two Boston representatives.

The first members of the Massachusetts General Court to be expelled, William Aspinwall and John Coggleshall are removed from the legislature for being supporters of Rev. John Wheelwright. They are subsequently banished from the Massachusetts Bay Colony and move to today’s Rhode Island.
